Born in 1960, Eric Magaud is a self-made french painter. From 1983 to 1990 he attended the Art Studio Jean Verdier in Paris, learning photography ceramics, sculpture and painting.
Eric focuses on enhancing the unusual, using acrylic paint to create an explosion of lines and colours. His abstract techniques enable him to showcase his amazing imagination, constantly evolving his style instinctively, without following any rules.
Eric has painted over 200 pieces in acrylic, occasionally blending sand, plaster or oil paint to magnify the richness of colours and textures. In every painting there is mystery to uncover, displaying a range of human emotions, from loneliness and suffering to love and joy.
